Description
AES Group, Inc. acted as General Contractor for improvements made at the existing Marin General Hospital.
This project was awarded in August 2017 and roughly took a year to complete (including change orders for additional scopes of work).
Scope of Work
Combination of two rooms to form a new Data Center.
Work included:
- Demolition, installation of data racks, UPS, clean agent fire-suppression system, pre-action sprinkler system, new chiller on roof and associated electrical (including new panels and transformer) and mechanical work.
- Seismic anchorage of equipment.
This Data Center will allow for the new hospital building to become operational as the existing hospital is decommissioned and then it will become a back-up data room.
